Preventative Pest Services
Jackson Pest Management offers a great personalized pest prevention service. Pest prevention services play a critical role in maintaining healthy, safe, and comfortable living and working environments. These services focus on proactively managing and eliminating pest infestations—such as rodents, insects before they escalate into larger problems. Unlike reactive pest control, which addresses infestations after they occur, pest prevention emphasizes strategies to stop pests from entering or thriving in a space in the first place.
Professional pest prevention typically begins with a thorough inspection of a property to identify vulnerabilities. This might include checking for cracks in walls, gaps around doors and windows, or sources of food and water that could attract pests. JPM often tailor our approach based on the specific pest risks associated with the property type, such as homes, offices, or agricultural sites.
A key component of these services is the use of integrated pest management (IPM) techniques. IPM combines physical barriers (like sealing entry points), environmental adjustments (such as removing standing water), and, when necessary, targeted chemical treatments that minimize harm to humans, pets, and the ecosystem. Regular monitoring and maintenance visits are often part of the package, ensuring that any early signs of pest activity are caught and addressed swiftly.
Beyond protecting property, pest prevention services offer health benefits by reducing the risk of diseases carried by pests—like hantavirus from rodents. They also help safeguard businesses, particularly in industries like food service or hospitality, where pest issues can damage reputations and lead to regulatory violations.
For homeowners or property managers considering these services, the cost often depends on factors like the size of the property, the type of pests targeted, and the frequency of visits. Jackson Pest Management offers customizable plans, ranging from one-time treatments to ongoing prevention contracts. Ultimately, investing in pest prevention can save time, money, and stress by avoiding the damage and disruption that infestations bring.
Preventative treatments are done primarily outside in season. JPM targets occasional invaders, ants, wasps, and spiders etc. When necessary treatments can be performed inside as needed.
- Seaonal Quarterly - 4 Treatments scheduled about 7 weeks apart.
- Every Other Month (EOM) - treatments cover you all year long
- Single Treatments - Just one treatment to try and stop them before they become a bigger issue.
The size of your house, determines the price per quarter. Discounts are available if you pay for all the treatments at the begin of the season. Prevention treatments are not designed for mosquitos, termites, bed bugs or wildlife.
